I waited till I have warn these through tough delivery days running up and down hilly driveways to offer my thoughts. I am 100% satisfied with these boots. Very comfortable and protective while offering as close to a barefoot feel as you can with the sturdiness. I normally wear a size 9 in boots, but I did have to size up to 10 for these. 100% recommend these boots.

I am a Paramedic who works 48 hr shifts. I live Lems shoes and was pumped for these boots. The pros? Great comfort and way more toe room than the 5.11 boots I had previously. The cons? There is only one, bur it's a big one - the imitation leather used is SO FRAGILE. The toes of both boots were torn up literally within weeks, from normal wear and tear on the job. They feel great but they look terrible, and I think I will probably have to replace them. My department is not super particular but they look pretty bad. If they can fix this, the boot will be great. Also! I put elastic laces on them. Without a side zip, elastic laces are a must. In the middle of the night, when you need to get your boots on quickly for a call, they take too long with standard laces.

I really like them. The other day walking into my post I felt like I had on my slippers. No break in and comfy. I am a correctional officer and on my feet most of the day as I am a yard officer. These do not disappoint.

I had to order 1/2 size up as these were too short from heel to toe...which is weird because the shoes I bought in the original size fit perfect. So far, I can wear them all shift without pain/discomfort in my feet. However, the top part that touches my leg is causing some pain. Currently, I'm playing with adjusting the laces. Maybe I just need to break them in. I dunno.

I really wanted to like these for work, especially since I love my boulder boots so much, but I don’t think I’ll continue to use them for work. Love: lightweight, solid grip on the sole, waterproof capacity, toe box and fit feels like plenty of room Dislike: my biggest* is the way the boot rubs on my ankle under the laces. I thought it might just be the way I had them laced and so have tried different ways and lace types but it ultimately makes them uncomfortable enough for me to look for another pair and unable to comfortable power through a 12-15hr shift. Really love this brand and so many other options it has to offer! Hope this helps!
